There are many uses for spray polyurethane foam insulation in the commercial sector. Some of the areas that benefit include:
Commercial envelopes lose most of their conditioned air through gaps rather than through the insulation itself. Because spray polyurethane foam expands into every joint, penetration and irregular cavity, it insulates and air-seals in a single application. That matters more in a large building than a small one: the bigger the envelope, the more leakage points there are, and the harder your HVAC plant works to compensate.
Not every surface needs the same treatment. We survey the building first and put the foam where the losses actually are, which usually means the roof deck, the rim joist line and any wall assembly with a thermal bridge running through it. In refrigerated and food-handling spaces, the priority shifts to vapour control, because keeping moisture out of the assembly protects the structure as much as the energy bill.
Most commercial work has to happen without shutting the business down. We schedule around trading hours, stage the work zone by zone and keep the site clean as we go. Spray foam cures quickly, so areas can usually be handed back within a day. We are fully insured, our installers are certified, and we provide documentation for your records and for any incentive programs you are applying to.
