Where We Work

We serve Ottawa and the surrounding communities, including:

  • Kanata
  • Orleans
  • Gatineau
  • Barrhaven
  • Stittsville
  • Rockland

Serving the Ottawa Region

613 Spray Foam is based on Preston Street in Ottawa and works throughout the National Capital Region on both sides of the river. Being local matters for this trade: we know how the housing stock in each community was built and what tends to be wrong with it, and we can get back to you quickly if you need us after the job is done.

Ottawa and the Inner Communities

In central Ottawa we work on everything from century homes in the Glebe and Old Ottawa South to post-war bungalows and infill builds. Older properties here usually have under-insulated attics, uninsulated rim joists and stone or block foundations that benefit enormously from closed-cell foam. In Nepean and Barrhaven the housing is newer, and the work is more often about upgrading builder-grade attic insulation, sealing garage ceilings and finishing basements properly.

Kanata, Stittsville and the West End

Kanata and Stittsville have a large stock of homes from the 1990s and 2000s where the attic insulation has settled and the basement was left unfinished. These are straightforward, high-return projects: air-sealing and re-insulating the attic, then treating the rim joist and foundation walls before the basement is finished.

Orleans, Rockland and the East

Out east through Orleans and Rockland we see a mix of suburban homes and rural properties, including outbuildings, workshops and agricultural structures that need insulating for year-round use. Rural work often involves metal buildings and pole barns, where spray foam is the practical option because it seals to the steel and controls condensation.

Gatineau and the Quebec Side

We cross the river regularly for work in Gatineau and the surrounding area, covering the same range of residential, commercial and agricultural projects.

Ottawa's Climate Makes This Worth Doing

Ottawa is one of the coldest capital cities in the world, with sustained sub-zero winters and hot, humid summers. That combination punishes a leaky building envelope in both directions: heat escapes for months in winter, and humid air is drawn in all summer. An envelope that is properly sealed and insulated pays back in both seasons rather than just one.
